She could see it. In the distance, just barely, she could see it. The Prison. Barbed wire fences and Walkers everywhere. How was she supposed to get through all of that? Hiding behind a tree, leaning against it with a careful disposition -- she had learnt her lesson. Another Walker could wander up behind her -- or worse, The Governor.
Glancing over her shoulder, Andrea breathed in deeply, catching her breath. She'd been running for hours. Nothing but running. Her lungs felt like they were on fire, her legs felt worse, she was this close to throwing up -- but she couldn't. She had to keep going. She had to get to Rick, to warn him.
God, she should have listened to Michonne the first time.
And Rick, when she was first here.
Shaking her head, clearing the thoughts running on repeat, she pushed off the tree and moved towards the tree line, gaze scanning the Prison yard for someone, anyone. Her eyes flicked up to the watch tower, and a figure that patrolled.
Rick. Thank god.
Arm raising, waving back and forth in a desperate attempt to get his attention without attracting the Walkers that littered the distance between them both, Andrea nearly screamed. "Notice me Rick, come on." She muttered under her breath as her gaze lowered from his form, to the dead in front of her. There was no way she could make it through there with just a flimsy pocket knife. She needed him to notice her. "Come on Rick."
