Healthy fish! Keep your aquarium healthy by regular water changes, a gravel cleaner helps... Here’s one that is sold on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B012J2B500
These yellowtail damselfish had been in our care for a little over 2 weeks when they started spawning. In the pipe you can see 3 clutches of eggs. This species will lay a clutch every day when they are spawning. While we do a lot to make sure our fish are happy and healthy, It is still pretty incredible to us that fish could spawn in a retail fish system environment and in only 2 weeks.
The Truth About Fish Food: What Aquarium Fish Really Need to Eat
Choosing the best aquarium fish food is one of the most important responsibilities for aquarium owners. This gluten-free and dairy-free fish batter recipe allows you to enjoy crispy and delicious fried fish without any gluten or dairy. The batter is light and flavorful, making it perfect for a quick and satisfying meal.
Ingredients: 1 cup gluten-free all-purpose flour. 1/2 cup rice flour. 1 teaspoon baking powder. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1/2 teaspoon paprika. 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder. 1/4 teaspoon onion powder. 1/4 teaspoon black pepper. 1 cup sparkling water gluten-free. 1 pound white fish fillets such as cod or haddock. Oil for frying such as vegetable or canola oil.
Instructions: Mix the rice flour, baking powder, salt, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper with a whisk in a bowl that doesn't have gluten. Slowly pour the sparkling water into the dry ingredients while whisking them together. Do this until you have a smooth batter. The batter shouldn't be too thin or too thick. It should be thick enough to cover the back of a spoon. In a deep fryer or a big, deep skillet, heat the oil to 350F 175C. Let the extra batter drip off of each fish fillet as you dip it in the batter. Take care when putting the fish in the hot oil. Fry for four to five minutes on each side, or until the fish is cooked through and the batter is golden brown. Put the fried fish on a paper towel-lined plate to drain any extra oil after taking them out of the oil with a slotted spoon. Warm up the gluten- and dairy-free fish and serve it with your favorite sauce or sides. Have fun!
