Kinda crazy. I had a 1.5-hour surgery yesterday, and other than an overpowering wish to nap today, I feel really good. Like no more pain than a few days ago. The surgical team was fantastic. They listened to me, changed plans slightly after our conversations. Even my IV poke has no bruising. Looks like I am in for 10 weeks of physical therapy, probably, but I thought I would be in horrible bone pain today. And I skipped the post-op narcotics. They would make me sicker, no thanks! #healingfromsurgery #grateful
