It's likely that your general notifications just aren't saved because of inactivity, both from you and from people interracting with your posts?
the activity page works just fine, though, which is why it's strange to me. like, clearly the logging is there in some form. there IS a setting to turn notifications back on and i have tried toggling it only for it to just turn itself back off
if anything though it'd only be MY inactivity that mattered (which, tbh, is my running theory, not that i know enough about the backend of this site to confirm or understand further). the posts from this blog were (and are) still getting plenty of notes in my absence
