This is the video of me being trained to go to my mat whenever I feel anxious - It will help me to realise it is a place to calm down and relax.  It was only my second time being trained to do this and got I rewarded with lots of treats and cuddles so I think I got it right! Keep watching to see what I’ll be learning from Karen next week.

Morning walks, glad to be back to work with my Headway Swindon family. 

I’ve broken a bone in my foot and the vet said I have to take it easy for a little while and wear this little boot :( Hopefully back on my paws to my normal self in no time! 

On the 22nd August I passed my JPS Diploma with my owner Jane!  My tasks with Jane included:  - Off- Demonstrate knowledge, understanding and response - Immediate Response to my name - Informal recall - returned close to owner - Formal recall - sit in front of owner - Wait calmly while owner has a conversation with someone - Patients while owner sits in a pub garden/cafe - Vigorously play with a toy then calm and release the toy - Doorways and gate control - Energetic play under control on equipment - Formal stay in any position for 30 seconds - Formal stay in down position for 45 seconds - Have an examination by owner Our next challenge is to complete the Diamond Diploma award! - Easy!  Do you think I can do it? 

Yesterday I joined in singing with the clients.   Everyone had so much fun joining in and waving the flags. I can’t wait to do it again! 

Watch this video of my good friend Debbie training and teaching me new skills at Headway Swindon!  Debbie attends Headway Swindon once a week and trains me for 45 minutes when she’s here. This week she is teaching me to stay where I am until she calls for me.  Then I have to sit and lay down before I’m rewarded with my favorite treat...CHEESE!
