âNo, no, no, no! Not happening! Not literally right after I rejoin. No way.â The girl crossed her arms, wrinkling her already messy uniform. Her hands subconsciously flickered to her bracelet - a ring of brilliant metal, studded with gems - the key to her transformations - and twisted the band nervously. Lidded eyes narrowed as she pointed an accusing finger at the student in front of her, looking cool and collected as ever.
âDid Lux put you up to this? This has got to be some sort of prank.â Satisfied with her own conclusion, Jinx kicked back in her chair, putting her feet on the desk. The Star Guardians were a super private special exclusive club - not everyone could join, jeez. Star Guardian Prime was very selective - she was proof of that. And, yeah, maybe sheâd struck out on her own for a bit, but she came back, right? That had to count for something.
So it absolutely boggled her mind when Caitlyn flashed her wrist at her - there it was, her own Guardian bracelet. Her shriek could be heard from outside the classroom - âYouâre Jannaâs replacement??â Never had Jinx intended for the senior student to be replaced with so stiff and professional a student. Rumor had it that Caitlyn not only had top marks in every course, but was also the leading member of the rifling club. She pinched herself - ow.  No fuckinâ way.Â
