I'm glad to see someone with an intimate knowledge of the wolves actually sharing hard facts and well-researched information regarding such beautiful animals. It's admirable to see you promoting scientific fact and, at the same time, a respectful regard for the wolves themselves. Here in the USA, wolf attacks have historically been far, far fewer than almost anywhere else in the world, and people still fear them like some sort of destructive predator. Thank you, for keeping it real.
I’m really, really thankful for this message, because not everyone appreciates that I try to be realistic and nuanced when it comes to wolves. I often get a lot of shit because I sometimes say things that can seem out of the wolves favour and people want to tell me that I am false and that I do not really love wolves. I believe loving wolves is realizing and acknowledging hard facts even though it might not be all that postive for the wolves everytime. So thank you! Your message has really given me new motivation and guts to keep spreading what I know about wolves and expressing unpopular opinions. Which I believe actually will serve the wolves better.
Perserving wolves is my heart case, and all I want is for us to find a way to coexcist with them. I don’t believe that is done by being one tracked and close minded. You have to look at the bigger picture.
We are very lucky that there is still huge natural areas uninhabited by humans, like in the US and Russia. Without them I think the wolves would face a poor future. People often say that wolves need huge wildlife areas to be able to thrive. That is false. Wolves are extremely able to adapt. It is humans that need wolves to stay in those areas because we no longer know how to coexcist with them. It’s sad.
