It was a possibility and Cheryl was right as always but he couldn’t care less about his well-being when he was given the chance to spend some time with her. It was a rarity these days, her mother too worried about their reputation, telling her that the Jones boy’s feet did not belong on the holy ground that was built by their ancestors. Gladly, both him and Cheryl were stubborn enough to ignore her mother’s warnings and her words that were inspired by the hate she had for his father.

“ I am not. Not that I don’t like talking about the numerous possibilities that can be caused by action but I prefer to spend the time we have in another way. It’s easy for you to understand what’s happening to me, the she-devil in your house gossips. On the other hand, I have no idea what you’ve been up to. Care to enlighten me ?”

Her whole existencewas shaped by the paradox that her thoughts and feelings were. Cheryl Blossomwas made of controversies and it wasn’t something that surprised him. She didn’tknow who she was and it was even hard for her to fit in. No, not inside of theparameters of the average school. She was the missing piece there. It was hardfor her to fit in inside of her own home, family and life. And that’s why nowshe felt all of this hatred and it was the strongest she would ever feel. The hatredtoward one’s own being.  She couldn’tblame anyone else for this and that’s why it was harder to fix it.

“ I don’tknow why you felt the need to make this confession to me but all I can tell youis that you have two options. Fight it or let it consume you. You either killit or let it kill you. There is no in between.”
