lacey was in ABSOLUTE shock. his emotions were all over the place and he was walking down the stairs nearly tripping over his own feet with every step he took; only because he felt like he was COMPLETELY drunk without a drop of alcohol in his system. could it be that your heart was so hurt that you felt intoxicated? maybe it was just a placebo effect, but it was CERTAINLY how he was feeling. with bloodshot sclera and wet cheeks from crying the heartbroken artist tried to find his way out of this place, but it was like a freaking labyrinth and he couldn’t think clear. all he could think was about was the image in his head of niklaus with another and it BROKE him.

this can’t be happening. he thought he was done with them --- already had pushed that night so far from his brain that could hardly recall what he had done. but now that he’s run into them --- at his favorite coffee shop, of all places ---- the memories began to scratch at the surface once more. “what?” the question is curt and lacks warmth, but only a twinge of guilt gnaws at him for the cold treatment. he just wants to forget, and it’s hard with kit standing right in front of him.

     it's unlike harvey, to put personal attraction before his professional duties. he'd always prided himself on his just and fair occupational habits; as just and as fair as a lawyer could be under such circumstances. he was good, one of the best some had said. however, have a conscience was a dangerous trait for a lawyer such as himself. sleep wasn't something that came easy anymore; though no one would suspect as such. depending on what side he was on. there's an intensity to his gaze as he watches him, carefully. "did you do it?" it's not a question he usually allows himself to ask, never ask a client if they did it or not - it didn't matter, he was supposed to believe they hadn't and yet - here he was. allowing feelings to evoke seriously bad decisions. there's no cameras, no recording devices; nobody else able to witness this or a confession - which was a problem in itself. he suspected nobody would become aware of it however, unless reid decided to tell on him.  he's not entirely sure if the answer will change his mind or not, he doesn't want him to go to prison; even if he is dangerous. to him, and to everyone else too. he's already made a plethora of mistakes, that's one thing he knows himself.

         they were BOTH sleep in bed, and ethan only woke up by the feeling of her daughter moving his arm and screaming “  FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL !  “ ethan eyes were hardly getting opened as she say the messy hair of her daughter all over his face. ‘    okay, baby… i got it !   ‘ he pressed his lips together and he gived her a kiss goodmorning.    ‘   let’s wake mommy up…   ‘   he said in a whisper as he turned around to kiss his spouse’s cheek.   ‘    c’mon, darling… first day of school today…  ‘

he was on weed and lots of whiskey, but still convinced he was sober enough to think straight enough to visit the only person he REALLY had eye for, although the media told the rest of the world a whole different story. it was after midnight and it was probably a bad time to drop by, but he had just arrived back in the city from a show abroad and he felt the need to announce his return to them. after throwing the filter of his cigarette away, lacey knocked on the door of the apartment and waited for them to open up as he leaned against the door frame to keep his balance. god, he really missed him.
