Okay but out of some other point-and-click 2D platforming games, you gotta admit Poptropica has pretty responsive and accurate controls yknow? maybe it’s because i’m used to them, as i sure do struggle much less than i did when i was a kid LOL

but ya enjoy yet another meme-y artwork for yours truly 🫶

my love for Poptropica has also spread to Tomodachi life!! 🏝️ creating a bunch of Poptropican Miis in this silly game is definitely on brand for me :P

and as you can probably tell, making every Poptropican have Poptropican proportions because it’s cute to me. 🫶 dw i have other normal Miis lol

i may make a part two, as i’ve already made a few new Poptropicans since making this. and perhaps i’ll showcase some of the treasures i’ve made too!

man, a whole 10 years… i was just 14 in my freshman year of high school when i made my instagram which started it all, and honestly i didn’t expect it to last more than a year. boy was i wrong! i’m 24 now and it’s still kickin’!

unfortunately, both Instagram and Poptropica have gone through some… ahem… questionable changes throughout the years (and the latter barley exists anymore 😔) but I STILL STAND!!!

whether you’re here as an avid fan such as myself, or just following for that dose of nostalgia, i appreciate and love every one of you. i mean it from the bottom of my little heart! ❤️ i can’t even fathom thinking of the person i’d be if i never got into Poptropica… it really has changed me (for the better)

anyways, back to the cake… i decided to do a fun lil 6in cookie cake with Maroon on it! it honestly was super easy and fun to make, you just need some cookie dough, buttercream and food dye! and yes she was scrumptious 😋

anyways, yup last week had to go to urgent care to get some antibiotics as i tested positive with test strip at home… thankfully i’m feeling better but i still gotta take the rest of the pills so it doesn’t show up again

it’s Maroon Ring in her trusty airship, the Waxwing, which i based off of the OG Poptropica blimp (if that wasn’t obvious lol) it’s more practical, has enough room for some cargo & a cockpit up top 🫶 and it’s her pride and joy!

this time i used no line art, gave myself a lil challenge to render/texture things, and i’m still happy with how it came out even after a few months later hehe :)
