Talk about a sinking feeling in your stomach. Katsuya shivered as he felt a chill creep up his spine, disliking the mood of this place. He’d been tasked by the higher-ups with scouting this place out. It was known for it’s violent past, and Katsuya was well aware that it was used a lot for gang drug trade and had been for many years-- the place was a run down drug den that had seen more that it’s fair share of blood and violence. He couldn’t think of a single person that he knew that would willingly spend more than ten minutes in the building, but he was here for a reason, and he needed to focus on that.
Still, the creepy atmosphere was enough to get under his skin. Dark, dusty, bugs everywhere, and knowing that it was a murder house for sure? It made his skin crawl. He’d say a million times that he was alright with the blood and guts, but the moment you sent him somewhere that looked remotely haunted he hated it.
Katsuya was looking for some things in particular-- namely at the moment some very, highly illegal fire arms that had been stashed here and lost during a recent gang war. The firearms could be traced back to the family, and they couldn’t afford that.

Tan hands cup the other’s cheeks, the maddening grin ever present, ever showing. It never FALTERS, never even twitches into something else. This one looks so much like Bakura, yet so much more tender, so much SOFTER. Adorable truly. Disgustingly adorable. “Little Ryou…~” Marik PURRS, sharp nails digging into pale skin, “You’re much too curious for your own good. Such actions could get you killed, or worse~” One hand moves away, slipping beneath the purple cape that covers the whole shoulder, cloaking his arm and now the hand.
“Curiosity always has a way to BITE you…” Nails trail down along the skin, leaving red streaks that would barely save the skin from breaking, “a way to make you REGRET you decisions.” His fingers trace down to the chin before pressing an oddly gentle kiss to the pale lips, brushing his tongue against the other’s lips. In the moment of distraction, the hidden hand slips out. A SUDDEN motion, a sharp object jamming into the side. The knife isn’t buried DEEP into the flesh, but enough to make blood start to well out of the wound. He lets his lips over close, still ever grinning, “I should keep you…”

What had started out as a chill evening had taken an unexpected turn. The two had put in a show for background noise as they tried out a practice round of a new tabletop RPG the game shop had gotten. It seemed easy enough, but Yuugi always liked to learn how to play something he was going to be selling and it was more fun learning with a friend. They’d decided to have a few drinks while they played to help unwind from a busy day.
“Aha~ I found it!” Yuugi laughed, rising to his knees after retrieving the stray die from under the couch for probably the tenth time that night. His rolls got clumsier the more he had to drink.
“Now let’s see where that spell will go--whoa”
Tossing it down into the box lid to contain it in a new roll, he swayed when he realized how off balance he was. In his attempt to compensate, Yuugi fell forward against his friend. A hand went to his shoulder to stop himself and his head jerked back at the realization that their lips had just met.
However, it had taken his drunken brain a few moments longer to process that.

out of all of the things yugi and his friends have been up to, this might be the most unexpected. ryou, the seemingly-shy, quiet one, doing something like this unprompted...? maybe he’d underestimated him.
“ i didn’t realize you were so bold, bakura, ” he smirks, but allows their fingers to entwine anyway.
