across the screen, dim light flashing back at her in scrolling commercials. Raven’s leg extends.  her knee sprawls to splays one shin to the side, the other tucked close enough to absorb neighboring warmth. LANGUID  LEISURE  seeps into her slouching shoulders.

her brow scrunches, still good-natured.  

Theodore laughed, setting his mug down on the table, swiping at his lips with a napkin. “Well look at it this way - you’re not getting any younger and neither is Ronan. It’s not like you haven’t considered the idea - I’ve seen the way you two interact and his daughter is quite,” the blonde paused on the word, not really one for children himself; far too messy and noisy for his tastes.”Charming. Besides, what’s the worst that could happen? It’s just dinner.” 

He raised a brow, lifting his mug back to his lips. “So shall I set it up, say tomorrow at eight?”

Ronan was skeptical, eyebrow raising in response to Anders’ suggestion - he was too familiar with the moonlight to buy that. He’d spent years following the cycle of the moon, transforming under the bright light of a full moon, howling at the harvest moon, full and yellow, shivered under the blood moon. He knew the moon, knew the tricks it often played, the way it reflected off every surface - and he’d yet to see it cause the illusion of a chimera in the woods, crazed and out of control. 

“Perhaps…. though I’ve yet to see it play a trick that intricate. You’ve no idea what I could have seen?”
