Me and my friend were talking about how well made charlotte’s delusions were in hc2 like!! The depth!! Wow!!
My friend actually made me aware of how charlotte’s paranoia (such as the students’ distorted figures) is a direct result from her delusions over the “true” realm. And since she stopped taking her medication, she’s stuck in psychosis and everything just makes SO much more sense with the text being borderline unreadable at times
And I love how it ties in with Scarlett as well, since she was always critical of Charles but it just shows that they were both sides of the same coin as she experiences firsthand what Charles’s life was like.

･ﾟ✧ Stargazer path Finished HC2 recently and it's been really tough for me. I mean, the game is great, there's lots of things to think about, I love the endings. It's also easier for me to treat all that as a metaphor for dealing with mental illnesses and stuff, and if you think like that, the white ending feels like a good one, but still... not a happy one. And i want Charlotte to be happy so much i just can't.............. I'ts so hard to play, willing to help her to deal with everything, while the game just wants her to suffer no matter what you do. I end up crying about it for the whole day haha....... And then drew this to feel a little better. It's like a more soft and happy version of the white ending. Makes me feel like I did something good for her
