STEVE only goes to the past to have his dance with peggy and see lorraine and their daughter (carol’s mom) && thank henry ((i’m gonna drabble this soon. basically steve is gonna sneak out at night to their home to see his daughter & henry/falsworth is gonna find him and they’re gonna have A TALK))

steve comes back to the present because he doesn’t belong in the past anymore. he may not know what the future has in store for him but he won’t stay in the past, that’s not where his happiness is. he will hand over the shield to sam (because a) sam deserves it and b) bucky is done fighting as much as he is)

for his regular verse, he will retire and be a consultant of sorts for SHIELD when needed but not actively engage on anything. he’ll resume painting and attend to classes in NYU to learn his craft better.  specific verses changes:

-> he’ll either be with buck (stucky verse), be buck’s bff and support him and wanda when they’re together (winterwitch verse & his main verse) and eventually [briefly] date danny rand. 

-> (all verses) he’ll keep attending support groups for people that got snapped, people that had to stay here and mourn and for veterans (this is specially true for the TUA verse where thanos/the snap didn’t happen and he will ultimate fall for @civitatum-corda‘s klaus)

-> he’ll come back to the present to be with his wife (angel) and daughter (ronnie). fun fact: while dancing with peggy he’ll explain why he needs to go home && that howard WILL in fact, marry someone. peggy is thrilled tbh (also gotta write this drabble). @icxnhxndleit. also, he’ll come back since tony is now gone and jo’s alone with 3 kids that he also adores (and she happens to be one of his closest friends).

THOR. where do i begin. i hardly ever rp mcu thor BUT in case i do, thor WILL be depressed and WILL let himself go because that’s the realistic thing to do. not sleeping, not taking care of yourself, zoning out are all things that happen when you’re struggling and they’re NOT a fucking joke. mental illness and dealing with trauma IS NOT A FUCKING PUNCH LINE.

- since i really don’t like GOTG and i think this entire plot point was throwing away thor’s growth i’m tossing it, he will stay in “New Asgard” and WILL rule his people and WILL fight for them and WILL try to get himself better surrounded by his people and his goddamn friends and THERAPY okay, LOTS AND LOTS of therapy.
