Finished Cold by Drew Hayden Taylor today. Can't say I overly enjoyed it or its politics but it sated the thriller lover in me.

5 episodes into Desire Catcher and I love the contradiction of its audio quality. Perfectly enunciated Mandarin recorded in a soundproofed room and dubbed over a character who has their back to the screen versus an actor facing the camera who seems to have swallowed their lines.
Reread Guardian recently and discovered the other night that I have such strong associations between it and nighttime that a few chapters was enough to put me to sleep.
