BIOGRAPHY:
Hayden didn’t grow up in the most ideal of households. She lived in a small Oregon apartment with a depressed mother, an alcoholic father and an older brother named Jeremy - who seemed to be following in his father’s footsteps. Hayden always seemed different - she looked different too. Everyone in her family had a head of brown, straight hair and soft brown eyes... but she had a curly head of red hair and twinkling green eyes. She had a charisma like no other and a delightful laugh... not that anyone heard it too often. Growing up, she was heavily disliked by her father. Whether she was too smart, too stupid, too different, trying too hard - it seemed that nothing she did would ever please him. When she was thirteen... he began to hit her. Once it started, it seemed like it would never end - and the glowing flame of Hayden’s bright personality was quickly snuffed out.
It was this abuse that lead to the dismantling of Hayden’s efforts to live a well fulfilled life. She began to abuse drugs and hang out with the wrong crowd, staying at random people’s homes in order to avoid going home to face the fists that awaited her. She knew that this lifestyle would only do so much for her... and it was this lifestyle that got her pregnant when she was only 17. Not knowing what to do, not knowing who the father was, not having a planned future or any money; Hayden went back home. She told her mother, the only one who seemed to care about her, and the pair made the decision to run away. As it turns out, Hayden’s father wasn’t the man she thought he was. In fact, it was a different man entirely, which explains her appearance differing so greatly from her family. Her and her mother moved out with the other man, to Sandpoint, Michigan, to start a brand new life - and it was here, with her real family, that Hayden gave birth to a beautiful baby girl... and named her Sadie.Â
Hayden scrapped the drug and party infested life and began to work hard to become a nurse - something she had always dreamed of becoming since she was little. She finally moved out of her parent’s house and raised her daughter in a small apartment after getting an incredible internship at a nearby hospital.
Unfortunately, her daughter grew ill one day. It seemed like a simple case of strep throat... but behind Hayden’s back it blossomed into something much worse - Kidney failure. Hayden couldn’t help but blame herself for everything, wishing she had been able to see the signs. Sadie was her everything and she would give the world to her daughter if she could. Sadie is currently on dialysis and the doctors say she should hopefully make a full recovery but Hayden can’t help but make herself sick with worry over it. What if she doesn’t?
