I've only played part of DA:O because.. well I wanted to play all the games in order but DA:I was on sale and I bought it and I was curious so I opened the game and I didn't really intend to play it but I did so I'm sort of playing the games backwards.. Anyway, to get to my point, from what I've seen the characters are just as great and well written through all the games. I'm almost finished Inquisition and I've been able to immerse myself in it for hours without issue. (cont)

I think it doesn't matter in which order you play the games as long as you're having fun. The only difference is that if you start with the first game you can kind of transfer the ending to the next game, and there will be moments in the next games where the choices you made in the earlier games will be mentioned again. At least that's what I've read, since I haven't started playing DA2 yet I can't confirm this.
I saw your post about Cap 2 spoilers (Still haven't seen it, I'm just weak, oops) and about the Twins, Marvel can't have the X-Men background with them because they don't really own the rights because of Fox or whoever -.-
