Bobbi WAS SURE she was saying something. Maybe something INNOCOUS that Clint couldn't pay attention to? Or maybe she was rambling again about some scientific journal she had read recently? Whatever  her mind and mouth were in agreement off had FLOWN out the window when Clint kissed her out of the blue. The taste of FAMILIRITY is what hits her first. The way their lips molded together like they were puzzle pieces being REUNITED. Even after all this time her entire being responds to his touch, wrapping itself around her, making Bobbi feel like she was home.

  Her body BETRAYED her.

Limbs were wrapping around his neck, bodies flushed she is humming. Bobbi can DISTINTELY identify the faded taste of coffee on his lips, and she tries to FOCUS on that, tries to not get carried away but every second that passes by and they are connected by their lips she reverts back to those days were being together was as simple as WANTING to be together. She realizes that she misses Clint, every day, every hour. Miss how he would make a a stupid joke and DESPITE herself, laughs. Miss his MILD ( mild was putting it gently) obsession with Pizza and coffee. There's an endless list of things she miss about her ex-husband but most IMPORTANTLY, she misses that she doesn't have to HIDE behind a mask, that with him Bobbi Morse can be exactly who she is without fearing any type of CONSEQUENCES. So she tightened her arms around him, a silent prayer, a whisper to his mind saying 'Don't stop, just yet.' because she wants to be surrounded by him for as long as they were allowed to.

it seemed entirely too easy.

the dark uniform offered enough to keep whatever cuts and bruises he’d managed to get himself hidden. if it weren’t for how the brunet favored his left side as he walked, the archer probably wouldn’t have picked up on it so easily. and even once he did, bucky had lifted both arms with minimal reaction -- a small wince -- claiming to be fine.
