Okay, Kate, showing up with the hard hitting questions! I love it. Also I’ve actually been thinking about his costumes/outfits for a while and I actually have answers. (these are in no particular order, and I definitely have more that I like, these are just what I had pictures for on hand)

1. Number one will always have to be his dumb shit t-shirt outfit from the comics. Like the lowest amount of protection he could possibly have. But I love it.

2. Honestly, his suit in cacw was A Look and I want one, (Photo source: Renner’s facebook page, posted in 2015)

3. Tbh literally anything he wore in the Matt Fraction run is a favorite of mine. That brown suit he wore when he had to go buy back that Incriminating Tape? A+ in my book.

4. The old man outfit in the All New: Hawkeye run from five years ago is also Real Good Shit

5. And the newest of the bunch that’s just really aesthetically pleasing is the revamped Ronin costume from Hawkeye: Freefall. It’s just really well constructed and the colors? Regal asf.

Clint has a really bad habit of getting hit in the face and he just gets hurt in general in most of the comics I’ve read. It seems to be the thing he’s best at, only second to archery lmao. A lot of times he tends to run headfirst into dangerous situations, which see him jumping off buildings and falling to his almost doom (both in comics and The Avengers, though he wound up with fewer broken bones in the movie.) In the comics, Clint has gone up against the Russian mob, and then most recently in Freefall he faced the Hood and his lackeys. As talented a fighter as Clint is, he still manages to take his fair share of body blows, and half the time it seems he does it in order to wait for the perfect opening, and sometimes it seems like it’s because he’s kind of clumsy.

Kate just tends to get herself into trouble, fighting dragons and being chased down by brainwashed cult members. Not to even mention the time she and the West Coast Avengers managed to get themselves trapped by culty vampires. However, that being said, Kate tends to use a little motorized scooter or a bike in order to get around, and I’m sure she eats shit more than she’d like, which means she gets road rash. She’s pretty good at getting herself beat up as well, but not nearly as often as Clint manages to.

That being said, Clint and Kate, for all their talent and skill are just really prone to injury. At this point, I’m almost 1000% certain that their theme song is That’s Life as sung by Frank Sinatra, but without any kind of positive turnaround lmao

YES SAME. I think that Avengers Clint is better than a lot of the other films, solely because it shows off his skill as an archer instead of sticking him with Nat to make a joke. LIke he got a couple good one-liners in AOU, got to be arrested in CACW, and then he was the moody sad boi in Endgame.

The shots we got of Clint in The Avengers, though, were so good. And I’m kind of pissed that there’s so much of Clint’s time with Loki that was cut from the film. Like I’m just gonna be angery about Joss “I’m the epitome of feminism: Whedon and his poor decisions in both his Avengers films until the day I die, but thank goodness for the Clint content we got.

I feel like Clint would try and take on more than he can manage and just wind up with an apartment full of animals. Not necessarily a bad thing, but he wouldn’t be able to give them the attention they need. After the last of them is adopted out, he’d tell the shelter to not contact him about fostering again. He’s better off just keeping Lucky, who’s an independent dog to begin with.

Kate, on the other hand, would love fostering but would wind up adopting so many cats for herself, and possibly one big dog. Maybe a pomeranian as well. However, this depends entirely on whether or not she can manage to keep herself employed well enough to be able to afford food. She’s not necessarily the best at this, as we saw in the fraction run lmao

I feel like it’s just a huge amalgamation of everything. He’d close the window, but wouldn’t quite manage to get the heat to work properly (because he’s more concerned about everyone else’s than he is his own), so he’d complain at Kate, Bucky, Nat, and anyone else who’s unlucky enough to wander in at some point. Kate, Nat, Bobbi, and Jess would tell him to quit bitching, but Bucky would either personally wrap him in a blanket or hurl a blanket/hoodie at him and tell him to cover up, depending on their relationship.

I tend to look more to the comics on this stuff (where he doesn’t have any (known) children and he’s divorced lmao), and he stole his entire apartment building from the russian mob and then proceeded to pretty much adopt every single resident, so yeah. Clint is prone to taking in strays in both the comics and the movies, so he’d absolutely just keep bringing in new kids/animals as they outgrow him or pass on.

okay, so the way that I see Clint is as the Dumbass who can pull it together and be the Adult when needed. We see this in content like Secret Wars and the most recent West Coast Avengers run. Slap that together with the fact that he suffered beatings so severe from his father that he was partially deafened as a child, he’s gonna take in every damn stray he can, regardless of whether they’re human or animal. If he can help someone, he’s gonna find a way to do it.

Tbh, I think that a lot of Clint’s mental highs and lows are reflected in what he puts in his body. He kind of just puts shit in his body constantly (i.e: excessive amounts of pizza, coffee, and beer, in some instances) so it wouldn’t surprise me if he would move on to something like donuts. He might get a kick out of them bc he could use them for target practice lmao
