RATCHET: native; haunted-handsQuite possibly the best Cybertronian medic alive. One of the Autobots’ greatest assets. Mostly reliable. Occasionally has problems with authority; but, in Prowl’s experience, when Ratchet diverts from his standing orders, it’s in the interest of saving as much life as possible. Prowl disagrees with his actions but finds it difficult to fault his motives, especially since—unlike most rulebreakers—at least Ratchet tends not to make things worse. Prowl suspects Ratchet’s complaints about his aging hands were an excuse to join the Lost Light and abandon Cybertron; the fact that he stayed on the Lost Light after replacing his hands seems to confirm that.Considers Ratchet to be excellent company, both socially and intimately—it helps that some of their tastes line up. They don’t agree on all issues, but they have known each other long enough to know which issues to avoid discussing in friendly conversation.
RATCHET: multiversal; partyhardmedicPresumably, his skills are similar to his alternate’s, although his unfamiliarity with the anatomy of this universe hampers his usefulness to Prowl as a medic. One of the few mechs out there who still seems to unreservedly trust that Prowl is acting for the greater good. He fears this won’t last. But because of this trust—and the fact that Ratchet is from another ‘verse—Ratchet is at the top of Prowl’s list of mechs to call in case of emergency, should he ever need to flee.As with Prowl’s local Ratchet, this one is good company, and Prowl greatly approves of his recreational tastes. Very grateful to Ratchet for hearing about what became of Prowl, and choosing not to look at him any differently. For the moment, considers Ratchet a friend.
