Ford Pinto (1974)
From top to bottom here's an AMC Gremlin, an AMC Pacer, A Chevrolet Chevette, VW Golf. I'm not sure what it is about these mid/late century hatchback and pseudo-hatchback designs, but I really enjoy them and I'd like to see them come back. Especially the ones closer to the Gremlin (which might technically have been classified as a coupe at the time, can't recall). I know there's still hatchbacks in production, but now they tend to just look like squished down station wagons or crossovers. Compare the above hatchbacks with a '21 Impreza Hatchback, for example:
