D&D is such a cool wonderful world that exists in a MASSIVE multiverse! For that reason I’ve tried to keep this to core Forgotten Realms lore & only the sub-races that have been mentioned at some point during 5e. If you are looking for lore that most relevant to the current edition I suggest using D&D beyond rather then the wiki! That being said the whole point of D&D is to have fun and use your imagination! Canon is meant as a jumping off point not gospel. I am a firm believe in playing fast and lose with canon, Dafni has plenty of fun homebrew stuff in her back story! You paint these trees however you want! I have a lot of love for the elves of the Forgotten Realms but its important to engage in source material critically. It is super problematic to have assign inherent evil alignments to any of the races. That’s just a fact. I’ve heard that WotC plans to remove inherent alignment soon but still engage critically!

I had a blast with this! Elves have been a life long hyper-fixation for me so I’m always chomping at the bit to share what I know! This was a labor of love! My asks are not open atm but I’m happy to chat in the replies!

Also Astarion isn’t confirmed to be a moon elf but I think he is so I took a creative liberty!
