what do you think of my characterization?

who would be the one to randomly adopt a puppy without consultation: sam, omg. he loves dogs so much. but it’s more that he’ll pick up strays off the street to take back to harvelle’s roadhouse or whatever motel they’re staying at to bathe the dog and feed it. they can never keep the dog, though. 

who would force the other to take aesthetic pictures of them: really neither of them worry about things such as “aesthetics.” i doubt they even have social media accounts and if they do, they don’t have many followers. i’m sure jo once in a while snaps a picture of sam in a moment of relaxation such as when he’s sleeping or has his face in a book/laptop and vice versa in the sense that sam doesn’t mind having pictures of jo to save in his phone. 

who would do stuff they think is stupid just to make the other one happy: both, whenever they have a minute away from their daily dose of monsters and death, they’ll do something relatively normal together. sam thinks it’s nice to see jo smile and they enjoy each other’s company.

who picks out the horror movies to watch just so the other will cling to them: i don’t see either of them being scared of horror movies considering all the horror they’ve encountered in the real world, but they probably put them on for kicks and joke about how far fetched everything is and yes, there is cuddling involved. 

who is constantly studying and who is constantly trying to distract them: jo probably makes more of a habit of distracting sam when he’s so engrossed in research on a case and she takes it upon herself to coerce him into taking a break. it’s a bonus if there’s some kissing thrown in the equation. 

who initiates the facetime calls whenever they’re separated: i don’t think they facetime a lot. jo will contact sam for help on a case or sometimes when they haven’t seen each other for a while they’ll call just to check in and hear the other’s voice. 

who is more likely to storm out after a fight and who is more likely to cry when they do: if they fight, it’s ten to one borne out of worry/anxiety that the other put themselves in danger on a hunt or that they went ahead with a plan without letting the other in on it. regardless of the reason, they both are prone to storming out to give each other space. 

who stays up way too late binge-watching their favorite shows: sam suffers from insomnia occasionally, so it’s not odd for him to be awake into the wee hours of the night, but they both stay up sometimes together and watch television and it may even become a routine whenever they’re on a hunt together. they probably watch game of thrones.

who bites the other’s ear when they’re feeling frisky: jo bites sam’s ear !! and he’s totally weak for it. but he’ll nip at her ear sometimes too or her collarbone or her neck if he’s in the mood. she’s equally as weak for it, yet is better at hiding it than sam is. when she bites his ear, he’s a goner, no going back.

who sprays the other with water when they’re washing the car: okay, since dean’s the one who usually washes the impala, sam and jo probably gang up on dean together and tag team a surprise attack against him. this starts a prank war. 

who has more fun decorating the house during holidays: this depends where they are on said holiday. sam is less enthusiastic about the holidays each passing year, but spending the holidays with jo definitely lifts his spirits. she makes sure to string up some lights and whatnot around the roadhouse and/or the motel/bunker. there’s a couple of mistletoe around for each to have an excuse to steal a kiss. 

who is more likely to give the silent treatment when they’re mad at the other: i think they both may stay quiet when angry just to avoid saying things they’ll regret, but they get over it pretty fast, plus if jo was mad, sam would apologize.

who plays with the others’ hair more: sam won’t say it out loud, but he likes when jo plays with his hair. he enjoys having his head in her lap as she runs her fingers against his scalp, but he’ll twirl a strand or two of her hair when they’re sitting or lying together. and really, sam’s trashy lowkey, he’s into jo tugging on his hair when they’re getting it on, goodbye. 

who is more likely to climb all over the other one when they’re bored: omg, jo maybe?? i don’t know if it’s because she’s bored or more that she’s comfortable enough with sam to do it when she’s feeling affectionate. besides, sam finds it cute and endearing and it sucks him in hardcore. 

who tries to kiss the other as often as they can: sam kisses jo a lot !! just little pecks when they pass each other or before they go on hunts. 

who pouts when the other one tells them to shut the fuck up: sam would never seriously tell jo to shut up, he’s too polite and he likes listening to her talk. he’d only say it if they’re joking around and jo pouts playfully which just makes sam want to kiss her, so i mean it’s technically foreplay. 

who initiates the sex and who walks away when the other is riled up: both initiate, but it’s more that they’ll brush around it for a little until they both cave and go for it at the same time. jo probably walks away and sam laughs it off painfully because he simultaneously loves it and hates it. 

who always forgets the umbrella and who holds it when they actually have one: they both forget umbrellas and hold their coats over their heads instead. 

who demands showering first in the mornings: sam is an early riser so he most likely gets to the shower first, but he’d willingly allow jo to get in first if she wanted.

who sneaks into the shower with the other one in the mornings: either !! though i see jo doing this more often than sam. she uses the excuse of “saving water,” but he has no qualms about sharing the shower with her. 

who prefers riding the roller coasters and who prefers playing the games: they don’t normally have the time for places like amusement parks and such, but if they ever do get the chance, jo drags sam on the roller coasters and the games become competition between the two of them. sam gives jo any prizes that he wins.

who will text the other one thirty times in a row until they respond: neither, because whenever the other one texts, they reply. 

who always forgets to charge their phone overnight: both always remember to charge their phones, because they need them in case of emergencies.

who comes up behind the other and slide their hands into their back pockets: jo does this to sam a lot and whispers something flirty in his ear. he probably blushes and coughs awkwardly and looks around to see if anyone heard but he’s pleased and follows her into a back room or somewhere private so he can kiss her. 

who tries to get hugs from the other as often as they can: both go in for hugs, especially if there was a scare during a hunt and they both came out of it safe.
