‘rough touch’ > @haruumaki > honestly this fuels me, so accepting!
Angie never wanted to reach this conclusion. She never wanted to besitting in a classroom trying to harmlessly organize the evidence she had only tofigure something so discriminating out. She wasn’t even intending on workingtoo much today, she just wanted to re-organize some files, but even here, evenwithout her giant board of leads, she just…connected the dots. That’s right, itdid make sense, but Angie wished it wouldn’t. Why…why did all the pieces fit sowell?
Piling everything up, she stood up and started strutting towardstheir homeroom. The class rep should still be there. Why…was she so angry? Sheshouldn’t be biased while doing this type of work, but the way she grimaced, the way her clenched fists trembled as she approached the homeroom was a clearsign that she was upset with what she had found out. Everything was going to be fine, it’ll work out one way or another, she thought. For better or worse, this was her job, she needed her conclusionsto be at 100%. She inhaled, this wasgoing to be it then, and pushed the homeroom door open. As expected, MakiHarukawa, their class representative, was still here, cleaning up. With howloudly Angie entered, it wasn’t surprising the other had taken notice. It waseither now, or never.
“What the hell, Harukawa?!” Angie never felt this angry, thisbetrayed, she didn’t even know what she was doing. She violently threw thefolder of evidence on one of the desks. Using one of her hands, she slammedMaki against the wall the other had stood closest to. She wasn’t thinking, shedidn’t even realize how hard she did so at the time. “You can be angry at Angiefor convicting Akamatsu how much you please, she doesn’t care! But Angie neverwanted neither Akamatsu, nor you to waste your lives away like this! All ofthis evidence points to you undeniably,” Angie used her free hand to point at thepapers that had been sloppily thrown on the table. “How could you even…dragAkamatsu into your own petty crimes? Angie isn’t sure who else was lowly enoughto join your criminal gang, but take Angie’s word, she’ll make sure that all ofyou will face consequences eventually.”
Angie wasn’t sure what kind of purpose her own monologue served, butshe thought it was time to step back and leave. Huffing, she went back to deskto pick up the numerous files stocked in the folder and turned to take herleave. In a second, she was already pushing the door open, though before shecould leave for good, she turned to Maki, a raging scowl on her face. “See youlater, class rep.”
