tongues and teeth is kremy's pov because it represents kremy's belief that if he loves someone, all he does is hurt / use them. the lines “i’ve grown a mouth so sharp and cruel its all i can give to you, my dear” and “i will ruin you / it’s a habit, i can't help it” especially remind me of him.. ALSO personally i view it as kremy feeling that by just being around gideon he turns him into a bad person (as if gideon wasnt already a lil morally gray) AND I WILL LOVE YOU LIKE THE ASHES IN MY CIGARETTE BOX?? ouaghhh im gonna be sick canary in a coal mine is gideon’s pov of their relationship (but i think it also works as a song about gideon’s story overall), “you and i are friends of empty graves” can relate to their pasts that they've left behind and also could be about kremy’s shadow powers; “but I still hold out hope that maybe someday, i'll be worth more than all the silence left in my way” i see as gideon trying to move on from his past of being on the train; “but if in the end I lose my voice /  will you forget about your love for me?” something something gideon worrying that all he is to kremy is a bodyguard / the person that does the dirty work for him also both songs have lines about smoking and / or cigarettes which also makes me think about them..
