Wanted to illustrate the kind of hair decorations Altamara use in their modern era! The tassels/ribbons are called ‘flights’ and are essentially the decorations that are put on irl horse manes during shows and dressage. Like most things in their current culture, they -can- be imbued with military meaning such as using rank/corp palettes, but they’re also put in purely as a vanity item in different sizes kinds and colours.

Hello! You just duplicate the layer (the one with your gif, in my case it was the layer with Rin - it can also be a still image) and double click the layer to open the “Layer Styles” window - click the “Color Overlay” option and pick a color (this will be the color of the “shadow”). Then place the shadow layer underneath your original layer and move it around until you’re satisfied with the position.
