[ ♬ ]—— Ankh’s departure left a void in the punk maiden’s heart. She thought it would have been bearable, but after two weeks of little news about her cute chicken pet-- who had gone on a world heavy metal tour after winning the bikini competition-- her heart became heavy with loneliness. Despite having many friends and a girlfriend that can perfectly fill that void, and how she should be nothing but happy for him, she still misses Ankh-chan’s presence in her house so much.Â
If she can’t replace him so soon, then at the very least she’d like to share a new pet with the one friend that helped her make Ankh’s career possible. Good young Haruka has been dragged from his place to the streets of Sector Six, her hand clutching at his arm like an inescapable chain. Their target seems to be some pet shop of the zone, but instead she directs him towards the large, flourishing animal shelter that is open at all times for those who want to adopt unfortunate cute souls with troubled pasts and an extreme need of being loved and cared for.
“This place is sooooooo rich, isn’t it?” she asks him right after the cross the entrance, welcomed by the many meows and barks and other noises the various guests let out as soon as new people enter. They’re soon welcomed by one of the workers, who guides them through the bizzarre maze and then leaves them on their own to take care of business. Ibuki places her hands over her hips, scanning the place with narrowed pink eyes, and then looks back at Haruka.
“Do you like it here, Haruka-chan~?”
