Morrigan Prayer for Friends
Lady of Light and Darkness.
Goddess of harrowing lessons and hard-won victories.
I lift up my friends to you.
Though they are both in their darkest hours,
Itās a darkness within a womb.
They are their own mothersā¦
You bearing witness to their rebirth. Ā
They will grow from the mistakes they have madeā¦
The woe they now harborā¦
A lesson they will learnā¦
And they will give birth to themselves.
It will be agonizing.
Hours and maybe days of blood, sweat, and tears...
Each second a century.
Each minute a millennium.
They will scream profanities and curse those around themā¦
Curse themselvesā¦
But this wonāt be the end.
Itās a beginning.
I pray they see this is true. Ā
They will overcome their pain and persevere.
They will survive.
They will be born again like new.
Macha, Great Mother, guide them through their labor.
Badb, Guardian of the Veil, strengthen their swelling spirits.
Morrigan, Queen of Sovereignty, lift them up on ravenās wings.
May they find the strength within themselves to move forward.
Always forward.
