in the trope that "character A" is like "i've lost my memory and idk who you are but i just have this feeling that i'm supposed to trust you" (but it is literal worst enemy) it would not be because unconsciously "character A" knows that that person has never lied to you about his intentions? That person has always told the truth to his face no matter that he hurts and was he the only person who has not used it or wanted something from "character A" in return? is interesting think about that e.e

Speaking of Eyeshield 21, I recently came across a really cool ship hiruma x fem! Sena fanfic (because apparently it's canon that there can be a girl on a boys' football team in the eyeshield world) and it's really good, explores character development a lot (I cried in some scenes) involving paint bullet fights, super badass challenges, team as a family and breaking into government buildings, plus Sena trying to earn the eyeshield name legally, the name is Survivor by mayonaka no sasayaki
