Iām not going to lie, I REALLY wanted to like this show. Despite it being, in my opinion, unfairly panned based on the barges themselves.
And yet, now that Iāve seen it, I cannot find anything to like about it.
I loved Illuminations, so maybe itās just that this completely fails in comparison. But I literally cannot point out a single thing I like about Harmonius. Even the grand finale sucked. There was just no emotional connection involved in any part of the show. Disney dropped the ball on this one, in my opinion. They are capable of SO MUCH MORE.
if you're struggling to design a tf just do it in a pseudo-tfa style

Just watched Harmonius, Epcot;s new nighttime show, again to give it a second chance. And instead of thinking Disney could have done better, Iāve decided that the show just absolutely sucks. Disney is WAY better than this. Iām not one to slam Disney generally, but...wow, is that an awful show. And this is coming from one of the few people who liked Light Magic at Disneyland.

Iām hopeful for show, despite the critics (who havenāt seen it and are making assumptions, or just upset about the barges -- that part,at least, makes sense to me).
But if they make this music the centerpiece for celebrating diverse cultures, and donāt just sayĀ āwe had a lot of diverse people singing those songsĀ you watched movie clips to,ā I think I may really like it.
But if IS just a slip show, even with really good music, Iāll be kinda bummed.
