first off: rip to 2 good ones who i'm 1000% bringing in as side characters but Viri baby....... youre so worth writing out other characters to one-offs. we'll need to write his actual introduction soon because he's unfortunately gonna be a bit close with lt. Warren aka breen sleeper agent.

abt lt. Warren: she's a recurring character of s1, originally taken by the breen as leverage from the ship almagest is sent to find but 'given back' to Alm with Viri. an engineer with specialty in electronics, she becomes slowly aware over the course of s1 that something is increasingly wrong with her-- frequent headaches, strange dreams, and later on finding logs she has no memory of making on her personal computer composed of strange information that makes no sense to her in part 1 of the finale while the away team is down on Epsil's planet. during the process of going back through the wormhole from the beginning times, she is one of the officers almost killed by the damage to Almagest. and then well. smirk

years ago in alms conception stages Luz and Laslo were similar in age but now Luz is babier. literally third youngest above Laulin and Viri because they're 24. so Laslo gets honorary weird older bro status methinks. what can we say laslo is just that kind of guy who is familial with loved ones and loves people easily!

speaking of which: part of why Harek and Laslo got so tight so fast is because they're both like that. each of them bonds quickly and strongly, and since they met at the academy they were close as siblings. Laslo's the diplomat where Harek's words sometimes fail, and while Harek is good with words, they know how to defend Laslo when he inevitably gets himself hurt simply by virtue of not always being smart with words in casual life. [read: this man rolls 85% nat 20s and 15% nat 1s and nothing in between. all that brainpower's going to being Silly Commanderman otherwise]. literally besties til the very very end ❤️
