Morning joy: the ovens are cool enough so I can empty them this morning. The first firing makes the clays change colours and less porous. I was struggling this week to come up with a new mug shape for a large size mug. A lot of my customers want large mugs and I’ve always made them in this shape as well as a few other shapes.
