So I think somebody can be very romantic but just different in how they see and express it, but that also does not exclude the possibility that you are greyromantic! I am not grey or aromantic so I can’t say what that’s like

I don’t know if this helps at all, but I consider myself an INCREDIBLY romantic person but I, like you, get very irritated by romance being shoehorned into everything in media (because sometimes, it is just not necessary and just does not fit, doesn’t work) and a lot of romantic media just doesn’t mesh with me, isn’t appealing. I have done a lot of things I feel is very romantic but other people don’t see it that way.

yeah i think that i fall somewhere like under the demi-romantic category with also just a very different idea of what is romantic 

i just wish that figuring this out didn’t leave me feeling so lost or confused
