Jeellplays: “Restaurant Paradise: Sim Builder”
I’ve always been a big fan of simulation games ever since i was a little a kid and nothing much has changed in terms of my taste in games- the simulation category is still my favorite and go-to category aside from the usual adventure, horror, romance and etc.Â
So with that I actually have a couple of games installed on my spare phone (I started using it again only for the sole purpose of having games because my main one right now is running pretty low on memory, I guess we either gotta get it a memory card or so some late spring cleaning)Â
Therefore I present to you- Restaurant Paradise: Sim Builder!Â
It’s created by a developer called Happy Labs and it was released on 11 Jan 2017. Happy Labs consist of a group of indie creators who are based in Singapore- just scrolling through their other games available for you to play, most of them are casual games that are pretty easy going and fun. So far I have two of their games installed and I guess once I’ve reached that pretty stable stage in these two games I’m definitely gonna try their other games.
Anyhoo, this one is pretty fun and simple. The tutorials are pretty short and sweet and then it lets you do whatever you want on your own. I actually discovered this after another game made by the same developer so I was a lot smarter on how to go about this game- I’ll go in more detail with that probably in another entry so I can do a combined “Tips and Tricks” since this game and the other game is pretty similar.Â
But yeah, you pretty much just have to keep tapping the coin icons to earn money to buy decos and the new shops available for you to purchase whenever you expand. There’s also this “Fever” thing where if you collect enough starts you get to activate this mode and it’s pretty much just gonna rain coins and profit galore!
Considering I had a pretty good headstart, I’d rate this game a good 7.5/10 in terms of experience because I feel a lot let stressed playing this compared to the other one where I dove headfirst with a blindfold. It’s a pretty good game to play to kill time- considering some of the stuff take time (like levelling up).
In terms of in-game purchase- I haven’t really purchased anything. I feel that this game really makes you feel at home and at ease considering you don’t feel pressured to spend big bucks just to have an enhanced experience (I really need to give this to the developers, kudos to you) Like, from experience, one of the reasons why I stop playing games that I used to play aside from boredom is the consistent pressure I feel to make in-game purchases just to get this and that. That’s why it would seem like I’m over-glorifying this part but no seriously, I’m HAPPY this game doesn’t make me feel that way.Â
With that being said, like most of the other games I’m going to post about next, this is a game you can play anywhere and anytime- especially if you don’t game all the time or you’re not on the phone all the time? You might want to give this game a try- especially if you like casual simulation games.
