Hannah and Haul had been together for 6 years by the time they actually got around to introducing him as her boyfriend.

It wasn't their fault. No really, it wasn't. It just kind of happened after the whole 'running off to bulid their own circus at 15 and 17' thing.

And sure, they could have gone and visited her adoptive family like they had the rest of their family (Haul's and her bio parents' family). But Haul was tired of the bullying at school enough to drop out and Hannah was angry about the amount of secrets everyone in her family was keeping... so, they didn't.

And yeah, it could very well be considered petty on Hannah's part but she didn't particularly care and Haul would do anything she asked him to. And could you really blame either of them after finding out all the secrets her family had been keeping?

Harry dating Audrey.

Ginny and Clay being married.

Harriet being able to speak to more than just crocodiles.

Cj running off to wonderland. Without telling anyone. Again. AND MARRYING ZEVON.

Her father getting remarried.

Her grandfather being DAVY JONES!

Hannah thought that all of that warranted being more than a little petty-- even if Haul didn't necessarily agree with her.

But all of that was behind them now and he was finally getting reintroduced to her family. Well, her siblings at least. Apparently her father was still livid that she ran off and his new-not-so-new wife and mother were trying to calm him down. Who would have thought that, that was a possibility? Totally not him.

Everything was going well at first.

All 6 of Hannah's siblings-- yes, 6, apparently her father had another kid while she was gone-- were being friendly enough. Even though he could tell that it was forced-- they had the same tells as Hannah after all-- he appreciated it.

Harriet talked about her kids and job. And Anthony's bat. And the animals she had in her corner.

Ginny talked about all the deadly potions she knew how to make and all the weapons Clay owned.

With Cj chiming in about all the ones Zevon knew how to make and all the deadly adventures they had been on. While playing with a lighter.

Harry just played with his hook, making hook puns. Which kept getting him warning looks from Harriet.

The only ones being genuinely friendly were Peter-- who had known where they had been the entire time-- and little 5 year old Hope. The kid James Hook had when Hannah was gone.

Everything was going well at first.

Until Hope had to go to the bathroom and asked Hannah to come with her. Which Hannah couldn't refuse because she adored the little one already.

As soon as the two of them were out of earshot, everything went to hell.

"So. Haul--" Harriet started, leaning toward him slightly. Scratching her pet crocodile's back. "We need to talk"

Peter snickered.

Haul shot him a brief glare before turning back to Harriet "About?"

Harry got in between them, grinning like a mad man. "Your intentions with our baby sister "

"I don't have any intentions with Hope" He replied dryly, despite knowing exactly what they meant.

Harry's smile vanished. "Not her! You know what we mean!"

"No I don't. Because last time I checked Hannah wasn't a baby" Haul knew that he was treading on thin ice but he really couldn't help it. He was tired of everyone trying to use intimidations on him. It got old fast.

"She's still our baby sister" Ginny chimed in, sharpening her nails with her dagger.

"She's 22 and can take care of herself " Haul bit down on his lip to stop himself from sounding too annoyed. He knew that they'd just take notice of it and use it to their advantage. Hannah had told him so before they had arrived.

"22 year olds don't know what they want" Haul wanted to face palm. Honestly, how stupid could one be?

"Cj, you're literally a year older than her. You're basically saying that YOU don't know what YOU want." He sighed, pinching his nose.

Cj turned red, having possibly forgotten that little fact, and scowled "that's not the point! Just focus on what we're saying!"

"I would if you were saying anything worth focusing on"

Before they could say or do anything in response, an oblivious Hannah returned carrying a sleeping Hope.

"Hey guys what's u-- why does Peter look one laugh away from death?"

Haul just smiled innocently at her, feeling 4 glares on him. "No reason, Dream Queen. No reason"

Please don't be mean. Varian and Cassandra weren't romantically involved-- their relationship is strictly platonic. Varian was just a donar and they both were nearly 40 when Hannah was born. So please don't leave any mean comments.

Well, Fiona is a future love interest for Noah. She's a fairy with dark hair, eyes, and wings and pale, grayish skin and long, long nails who'd never hurt anyone.

She is 8 years old and ages like a human would somehow, so it's assumed that she's half human or at least half something that ages like a human. She was homeless before she met Hannah when she was 3 and knew nothing about her past.

Hannah is the one who gave her, her name; Fiona Freelend Foundling. Fiona, because she was pale. Freeland because she cost nothing and was as free as free can get. And Foundling because she was found by the crew, nameless and alone.

Fiona likes dark clothing and dark humor. She loves black berries, coffee, coca cola, coloring, drawing, sewing, punk music...

Fiona is the look out of Hannah's crew and spends most of her time in the crows' nest, warning the crew of anyone who ventures too close to their ship or boards it. And of the fights happening in the wharf so Hannah can break them up/mediate.

She loves rock and roll and punk music, like Noah does, as well as heavy metal. And wants to be a tattoo artist or run a boutique/thrift shop when she's older so she can sell her own designs.

She, like Noah, has a stuffed Koala but unlike his, hers has an extra eye and a bow. Her Koala's name is Dawn.

Fiona also has a pet skunk named Bagul that she loves more than anything and never parts with. Mainly because she saved it from drowning when was 6.

She's also very shy and doesn't talk much to anyone other than Noah. And she considers the crew, especially Hannah, her family since they raised her and gave her a name and a purpose. And she almost never leaves the ship because she gets separation anxiety when she isn't around at least one of their crew.

She usually wears dark colors with the exception of white and hates shoes, just like Hannah does. And she really, really loves dark/werid poems and stories as well as games, especially if Hannah made them up.

Fiona, like Noah, gets along with all of the crew and looks up to all of them. And they eventually play big brother/sister to the future crewmates that get taken in by Hannah Hook and the other kids.

(This is why she has beef with Jay).

Mal is an obvious one but I'll make it clear. Hannah doesn't like her because of the isle stuff that she thinks was a bit more than necessary, among other reasons. But again, this is before they have more common ground after being sent to Auardon.

Evie is less obvious and less intense. Hannah and her don't get along because in my thing, Evie and Harry use to be friends before she was banished and after many years of Harry sneaking into the castle to help her things went south. Aka Harry got caught. And for three years, he never saw her again because she wouldn't let him. So you can imagine how mad Hannah was when she joined Mal. Also, Hannah gets really tired of her playing stupid when they both know she isn't. It has led to many arguments.

Anyone and everyone who had ever known little Hannah Hook could tell you that she had a phenomenal way with words.

She'd been telling stories ever since she learned sign language, after all. Taking seemingly unconnected plot points that got stuck in her little brain and mixing and matching them together until she had weaved a story so magnificent it had everyone sitting on the edge of their seats.

She could play innocent and dumb well, often tricking people into revealing the way they were able to cheat so well and start coming up with plans to cut said cheating attempts off within seconds.

She gave great threats that she rarely used and was often able to talk herself and others in and out of trouble on a good day.

It was one of the few things the majority of the isle could agree on:

Well, few people liked pointing it out but it was obvious who could see or hear that Hannah was a very clumsy person.

The ravenette stared for a few minutes, absolutely baffled as the wee baby walked into it yet again as if not seeing it. Only to fall back on her butt, get back up, and do the same thing again while trying to get past it.

It was a werid sight to see indeed. Especially when one took into consideration that Hannah hadn't been walking that morning. But Harriet just brushed it off and waited to see if Hannah would figure out how to get around it on her own.

When it became apparent that, that wasn't going to happen the older girl sighed heavily and walked over. Causing her little sister to look in her direction, scrunching up her face up in confusion.

Harriet just picked her up and moved her to side, exasperated as the little girl stumbled off. Laughing gleefully, causing the ravenette to shake her head before she retreated back to her room.

'What a werid kid...'

Hannah's clumsiness didn't get any better as she aged. She'd still bump into things and trip constantly-- getting bruises and cuts and bumps on the daily.

Which infuriated 3 year old, Cj Hook to no end because 'it ruined her wharf cred!'. Even though she had no idea what exactly that meant, having learnt the phrase from Harriet's friends.

But still, it sounded serious to her and one day, after Hannah tripped down the gang plank, the blonde snapped. Storming down after her down and signed at her furiously.

Her signing barely legibly as she quickly held up her dominant hand into the number five sign so that her palm was facing her and closed it. Before gesturing to her hand.

She repeated the action as the two year old squinted at her.

'Hold. Hand. Hold. Hand!'

Hannah held out her hand, furrowing her brows. Extremely confused as to what her older sister wanted from her.

Cj nearly growled in frustration, rolling her eyes as she yanked the smaller girl by the hand and dragged her off to the market place. Not releasing her hand until they were back on the Jolly.

Which continued for the next two years until she realized that being seen holding your younger sister's hand was even more embarrassing than them being a walking train wreck and promptly quit the tradition. Denying that it ever happened and that anyone who remembered her doing so was delusional.

"Come on, you dumb, overgrown lizard!" 7 year old, Harry Hook griped, scowling as hung off of the dock. Dipping his hand in the water, trying to entice the ancient and aging Tick Tock to chomp off his hand already.

He just needed to get a Hook just like his dad!

Uma and Harriet had refused to assist him in his quest, so he wasn't having in any luck. And since it was his turn to watch his youngest sister, he was having even worse luck than he usually did.

And while Harry usually loved Hannah's excited, distracted chattering, in the moment it was making him irritable. Because all it was doing was scary to the other crocodiles off.

So, he did the only logical thing.

Signed for her to go play somewhere else, ignoring the sad look she gave him as he turned back to the thing that scared their dad the most.

Tempting fate and paying no mind to the fact that Tick-Tock's jaws were longer than he was as he shouted at it "TAKE A BITE ALREADY!"

The dastardly creature just opened one eye lazily and went back to sleep.

Harry scowled, tempted to throw a rock at it but knowing better after the last time. He shivered, remembering the tongue lashing Ginny, Harriet, and Uma had given him.

"Stupid bloody, overgrown--"

The young devil-may care buccaneer was cut off mid-rant when a loud splash and familiar cry rang out.

Harry spun around so quickly that he nearly got whiplash, eyes wide as he saw his little sister thrashing around in the murky water. Where she was barely, if at all, separated from all the dangerous creatures that lived in it.

"Oh sweet evil" was all he said as he bolted over to recuse her. Knowing that his parents were going to kill him.

Ginny sighed, dog earring the page before looking in the direction of Hannah's voice-- nearly causing her to have a heart attack.

There, up in the bell tower-- hanging out of the window-- was her tiny, bumbling sister. Who slipped at the exact moment.

Luckily for them both, Claudine was up there about to ring the bell to signal that school was over and quickly caught her by her arm. Yankimg her back in.

Ginny buried her face in her hands, groaning and feeling faint "that kid is gonna be the death of me..."

Hannah yelped as her foot connected with a sturdy root, causing her to tumble down the hill.

"Uh oh" Peter mumbled to himself, before zooming down after her in an attempt to catch her.

Captain Magnum had long ago grown accustomed to the odd strangers that would come and go from his ship. Almost always coming from the sky with no clue of what was going on.

But this, was by far, the oddest encounter he had ever had for a plethora reasons. Because this time, it wasn't a grown up in strange clothing that had fallen out of the sky. No, this time, it was a mere girl in pirate's clothing who couldn't be more than twelve years old. Thirteen at most.

The change was unexpected and had thrown him off greatly. It had thrown him off so much in fact that all he could do for a good five to ten minutes was stare at his unexpected vistor.

She was a tiny thing (compared to him at least) with paling skin and watering, fear filled brown eyes. Her hair was short and wild, and a dark brown color and had two noticable streaks in it (one white on the left side and a teal one mirroring it on the right side).

And she was clutching her near managed leg.

"Begad!" The towering man exclaimed, rushing over. Wondering just who could have done such a thing to a child and what could possibly be an excuse for it. He couldn't think of any that would be anywhere near reasonable enough to cause someone to do this to a child.

A child who was losing blood fast while his small crew stood around stunned.

The pirate captain felt his blood boil.

"WHAT BE YOU BILGE RATS DOIN' ?! ARE YOU LOADED TO THE GUNWALL OR JUST CHOWDER HEADED?! MAKE HASTE AND GET THE MEDIC OR I'LL HAVE YA ALL KEEHAULED!"

That threat caused his men to scatter-- sending many of them running to find the medic. Right as the young lass collapsed, nearly braining herself on the deck. Luckily, Captain Magnum caught her head just in time.

He sighed.
