let's crack the code!

stevieâs beginning to love dancing. not that he didnât love it to some degree beforeâ but next gen has alighted something in him with it thatâs different than before. stevieâs not sure how to explain it; it could be a change in his self or his mindset about it, maybe. none the lessâ heâs pretty excited doing a.maze for this cover performance.Â
the dance already is fun, the beat catchy enough that stevie bobs his head to it on instinct. the original choreography feels easier to learn than the classical dance break theyâre going to try. not that itâs incredibly difficult, but the styles are different than what heâs used to.Â
itâs elegant, itâs graceful. itâs a lot more expression and fluidity and movement than stevie has practiced, but seeing it done is entrancing. intriguing. itâs a nice reprieve from the heavy moves theyâre supposed to hit earlier in the song.Â
stevie likes how it looks, likes how pretty and fluidity it seems when hangyeol tries out the transition of what they have come up with until now. he loosely follows the moves along, eyes watching along in the mirrorâ more focused on getting the count to match with the raise of arms or the spin on their heel. the drop to the ground, then moving back up without looking clunky. âokay,â he says slowly, pausing when hangyeol comes to a stop. âi think after that, itâd look nice with likeâ a twisty? turnsy kinda thingâŚâ he thinks about what itâs called, letting out a long little uhh⌠before he snaps his fingers. âkinda likeââ he canât think of the right words, so he just acts. stepping back, her performs a portion of a move, ending with a move where he rotates in a complete circle, lifting his leg in the air and landing back down fluidly as he does it. âi think that would look cool. maybe when the piano picks up in speed a little?â
