#hangnick

Nick was a nervous wreck at the moment. He got the “WG Elixir” that he ordered in the mail last week but hasn't tested it out yet until tonight. He currently has it in his gear bag and is anxiously waiting to use it on his husband who's currently doing a promo. Nick was watching the tv in his dressing room while nervously bouncing his leg. He was snapped out of his trance when he felt someone grab his shoulder. “Jesus!” Nick says as he jumps in his seat on the couch. He looks over and sees it's his brother, Matt. “Oh, I forgot you were in here” Nick says to the older Buck.

“What's got you all nervous?” Matt asks him seriously. “Nothing…” Nick tells him bluntly. “Something is bothering you cause you only bounce your leg when you're hiding something” his older brother says as he gets closer to the younger man. “I'm not hiding anything, also you're in my personal space” Nick says as he pushes Matt away. His older brother just pouts and crosses his arms as he backs away. He then looks over and spots his brother's gear bag and grins. “Fine, if you're not hiding anything then I'll just…” he trails off as he quickly gets up and goes towards the bag.

“Hey!” Nick says as he gets up and goes after his brother. Neither made it far before they crashed into each other. “Get off me, Nick!” Matt yells as he tries to push his brother off. “No, cause you're gonna look through my effing stuff!” Nick yells back as the brothers start rolling around the floor. This lasted for several minutes until Adam and Kenny entered the room. They automatically pull them away from each other cause it was basically routine at this point. “Woah, calm down guys!” Kenny says to them both.

“What was the cause of this fight?” Adam asks the brothers curiously. “Matt was trying to look through my bag!” Nick says as he points at his older brother. “Only because you've been acting suspicious all day!” Matt points out to him. “He does have a point about that” Kenny admits, agreeing with his husband. “You've been shaking like a leaf all day darling so it's just best if you tell us” Adam tells his boyfriend seriously. Seems like Nick was cornered from all sides so he just sighs and tells the truth. “Fine, I'll tell you… I bought something off the dark web and it's currently in my gear bag” he admits, surprising everyone in the room.

“Why the hell would you buy something illegal?!?!” Matt asks him, clearly freaking out. “You didn't buy organs right?” Kenny asks as well. “Guys, let him explain please!” Adam says, silencing the other two. “I freaking love you” Nick tells him quietly as he gives his boyfriend a quick kiss. He then walks over to his gear bag, opens it up and pulls out the jar. “This is what I ordered” he says as he shows it to the trio. “WG Elixir… What does that mean?” Matt asks, clearly confused. “It stands for weight gain” Kenny answers with a smile, causing his husband to look at him.

“I'm so glad I'm married to a nerd” Matt says with a shake of his head. “So you ordered something that'll make you gain weight? You look fine to me, hon” Adam tells him truthfully. “It's not for me! Also thanks for the compliment” Nick says to his boyfriend. “Is it for me? If ya wanted me to get chubby you could've just asked, I wouldn't mind…” the younger man whispers, causing the younger Buck to blush. “It's not for you either…” Nick admits truthfully. “Then who's it for?” Kenny asks, clearly confused.

It takes a few seconds but the gears start to turn in Matt's head. “Oh my effing god, you're gonna drug your husband!” he says out loud, definitely in shock. “Oh my god it's not a big deal!” Nick argues as he blushes from embarrassment. “It kinda is dude, like does Mox even know you're planning this?” Kenny asks him curiously. “No…” the younger Buck answers a bit quietly. “He doesn't know?!? So you're telling me that you're risking yourself going to jail cause you can't stop being horny?” Matt asks his little brother.

“Do you forget that people around here buy things from the dark web all the time? Also didn't you literally just buy lactation pills so you could breastfeed your husband during sex? Which you two do constantly?” Nick asks with an eyebrow raised, causing his older brother to blush from embarrassment this time. “Fair enough, sorry for judging” Matt says as Kenny pulls him into a side hug. “Darling, why do you wanna make Mox fat? If ya don't mind me asking” Adam says nicely which kinda melts Nick's heart a bit.

“Ok, you guys remember a few years ago when he was husky looking?” He asks them, the group nodding in response. “Well, I kinda liked it and he did too! He was so happy being comfortable in his own skin but then he started cutting back and then bulking up and it's been this endless cycle ever since. I just want him to be my happy teddy bear again” Nick tells them truthfully. The trio all look at each other as they let Nick's words sink in. “Even though I think it's wrong that you're not gonna tell Mox… I support you fully” Matt says which surprises Nick.

“I support you too, I'll even help convince the costume department to up his gear size when the time comes” Kenny says with a big smile. Nick looks at his boyfriend, waiting for his answer. Adam just sighs as he looks at his boyfriend. “I may not like the guy but he was pretty tolerable when he had some pounds on him so I support you too” he says to Nick. “Hell yes, operation teddy bear is a go!” The younger Buck says as he bounces with excitement.

Sometimes it snuck up on them. Of course, doing what they did for a living, their lives weren't pain-free. Every day, waking up with little aches and pains. But sometimes, sometimes it crashed down all at once, after big matches, big losses, or even bigger wins. The minute Adam opened his eyes, he knew it was going to be one of those days. His damn eyelashes hurt as he blinked against the sliver of light from the bedroom window. He was just thankful they were home and not on the road. He bit his lip to stop the whimper from escaping his throat. It wasn't that he didn't want to show weakness, he was afraid he wouldn't be able to stop if one got loose.

Gingerly reaching over to the other side of the bed, he tried to feel for his bed partner's presence and only met cold fabric. He whined pathetically and tried to roll over to his side. His body complained the entire time. Wiping the side of his face on the pillow when a few tears leaked through he just wanted to be held after he could stand being touched. A warm body next to him would have helped.

Adam loved what they did for a living, he loved the movement and the fast pace. He loved seeing the world, but sometimes he really wished he'd never given up teaching. Then he wouldn't be laying in his bed in agony on a Thursday morning while Nick wasn't there beside him. As if his thoughts conjured him out of thin air, the bedroom door opened and Nick stepped into their room. His long hair was pulled back and he had one of his ridiculous neon bandanas on, pushing his stray hair back from his face. Even through the pain, Adam couldn't get over how good he looked. He had on basketball shorts and one of the many different Jerseys to match.

His blue eyes lit with concern when they met Adam's. "Babe, you okay?"

Adam could barely reach a hand out towards the other man. But Nick got the message. He padded across the room, kneeling down next to the nightstand. "Your back or something else?" Nick didn't touch him, not yet but Adam spotted his fingers twitching against the black fabric of his shorts, wanting to offer comfort.

"Every.." Adam paused to swallow. "Everywhere. Jus…Ow." He said pathetically at a loss to express the pain.

Nick nodded, then rose to his feet. "I'll be right back." He gently kissed Adam on the head when he leaned over him and Thankfully it didn't hurt all that much. It soothed him just a little.

Adam watched as Nick turned around and headed for their bathroom. He closed his eyes as he heard the water rushing into the bathtub and the sound of cabinet doors being opened and closed. the lights were starting to make his head throb.

“Sweetheart? You awake?” Nick’s voice was soft and his touch was gentle as his fingers moved through Adam’s hair.

“No,” Adam mumbled, loving the small chuckle Nick let loose.

“Why don’t you try getting up? See if we can get those muscles moving.”

“Hurts,” Adam muttered. Everything hurt.

“I know. You want some help?” Nick asked as Adam continued to lie there.

“Yeah,” he finally whispered.

Nick held out his hands and Adam put one of his in Nick’s. Adam sat up, trying to make sure his stomach didn’t recoil at the movement. Nick helped him rise to his feet, then slipped his arm around Adam’s waist. They made it slowly across the room to the bathroom. Nick let him lean against the counter, as he moved towards their shower to turn on the hot water. The scent of Eucalyptus and Mint drifted up from their already-filled tub. The room was just a little hot, but Adam could breathe a little easier now.

Adam couldn’t help but kiss Nick when he stepped up over to him and reached for the waistband of his sweats.

“We’ll continue that once you can move, baby.” Nick stepped out of kissing distance to remove his jersey.

“‘Kay.” Adam Said, then bit back a curse as he tried to get his fingers to cooperate.

"Let me," Nick stepped back over and slid his hands into the waistband of the sweats and pulled them down Adam's legs.

Nick was being as gentle as he could be as he lifted one leg and then the other to remove the pants from Adam, but it still hurt. Once Nick was back to his feet, he removed his clothes and together they crossed the room into the steaming shower.

At first, the falling water felt like a thousand tiny knives hitting his back, and he wanted to escape, but Nick deftly spun him around, letting the water try to loosen the muscles that were locked up. "You okay?" Nick's constant checking on him made Adam feel so loved and cared for. It was all he could do not to cry.

"Yeah. Just ugh."

If you were to play back all of Adam's favorite sounds, Nick's laugh would be up there in tandem with the roar of a sold-out crowd. "Let's get washed up. Then you can soak for a bit. And I'll make breakfast while you do." Adam smiled as Nick kissed his collarbone.

Nick reached for a washcloth and the soap they'd both fallen in love with while on their many tours of Japan. It was a big expense to have it imported, but neither one gave it much thought. Nick was careful with his movements, as he scrubbed the night away from both of them. Adam groaned when fingers pressed into a tender spot of his shoulder, but he could feel the muscle give under Nick's careful ministrations. Once they finished rinsing off, Adam felt a little better, and he knew soaking in the tub would help too. The bathroom was like one giant sauna. Even though it was mostly stone and tile, it was very warm. Unconsciously, Adam reached up to try to smooth down his hair.

"That's a lost cause babe," Nick told him as he helped Adam into the tub.

"Figured that." he hissed as the warm water moved around his legs then let out a groan of relief once his ass hit the bottom of the tub.

After soaking for around 30 minutes in the tub. Adam felt like he could move without wanting to cry. He got himself out of the tub. Nick hadn't returned so Adam figured he was still in the kitchen. Lifting himself out of the tub and drying off took him a few extra minutes, but with that done, he dried off and wrapped the towel around his waist. The cool air of their bedroom hit his overheated skin but instead of hurting it felt good. On his nightstand sat a glass of ice water and the medicine cup from their bottle of NyQuil holding pills. Sitting on the side of the bed, Adam downed the pills, knowing the caffeine pill would finish the job the soaking and shower had started. Sure, the caffeine pill might be bad for him in the long run but it kept him from curling into a ball and snot crying all day.

He laid back in bed, waiting for the pills to kick in before he thought about getting up to pick out clothes. When movement sounded from the door, he looked over and watched Nick come through it with a tray filled with food and more importantly, coffee.

"I could have come downstairs, Nick."

The other man shook his head. "Not today. We're going to eat breakfast, then we'll see what we can do about loosening up your muscles. We're staying in bed. I already called my brother and told him he and Kenny can handle the meetings with Tony today. And I called DJ. She's gonna look after the horses."

Adam closed his eyes trying to breathe through the emotions swirling around inside him. He wasn't sure what he did to deserve Nick Jackson, but he was damned lucky to find him in this life.

He felt Nick get into the bed and looked over at him. He was bare-chested, and had put his shorts back on, his hair pushed away from his face. He handed Adam his coffee, as he sipped his own before reaching over to grab the television remote from his bedside table.

They'd never said the words to each other, never had to when they could feel it in every press of fingers to the other's skin, every small-big moment like this. Felt it with every kiss after a match. But they'd never spoken it out loud. Until. "I love you," Adam said quietly.

Nick paused in his perusal of their DVR to look over. His blue eyes were wide. "What?"

"I love you," Adam repeated louder this time.

Nick's smile spread across his handsome face. "I love you too." He leaned over into his space and kissed him. He tasted like coffee and his ridiculous overpriced natural hazelnut creamer. "We're definitely staying in bed after breakfast." He said once they broke apart.

There's laughter that fills the Medical room and Adam can't help but feel just a little guilty filling a room normally filled with such pain with an almost unbreakable joy. He rests his hands on Nick's legs, still balancing the neck brace loose around his shoulders as his hands palm against Nick's jeans and the way that Nick's laughter ripples through his body is like a pebble being thrown in the sea. Adam can almost feel the sea foam wrapping around his fingers as he presses his hands into the back of Nick's ribs. Matt knocks his little brother against the back of his head with his leg and Adam chuckles softer, watches how Nick grabs for his big brothers hand and Adam wonders if they did that when they were younger; Nick reaching out for comfort, for support and Matt gives it willingly because his baby brother means the world to him and more. There's a little prang of jealousy that spikes between Adam's ribs and he shakes his head and presses his palms deeper into the curve of Nick's back, ignoring the blinking red light of the camera.

Brandon puts the camera down and Adam is barely listening to the words that tumblr out of his mouth, there's something buzzing in the bottom of Adam's ears, loud and overwhelming like cicadas. He shakes his head a little, helps Nick to sit up and the two of them stare at one another as Matt shouts a goodbye over his shoulder, already lost in the glowing screen of his phone. Adam blinks at Nick, slow and careful and Nick blinks back with the same softness; grinning a little when Adam's smile breaks across the nervousness on his face. "I missed you" Nick admits and it breaks through the last wisps of laughter still haunting the corners of the room like ghosts hiding out between the floating dust particles and the setting sun skating its way through the small window.

Adam smiles back, softer, kinder this time and he just nods. "I missed you too." And there's nothing haunting his words now apart from softness. It's a weird homecoming feeling; something deep inside Adam has changed, rotted and festered until Adam is left searching and hunting for any emotion in the tired creases of his eyes. Yet, Nick stays with him, sitting with his legs dangling between Adam's, and he looks at him with the same softness. "I really missed ya." Adam's voice is smaller now, dancing against the inside of his ribs and Nick just nods leans up to press a little kiss to the crease of Adam's chin and the two of them share a smile just between the two of them before Nick knocks his fist into Adam's forearm laughing.

"We should see where they're going" Nick nods after the closed door and something in Adam rumbles with anxiety, he tastes it on the back of his teeth and it makes them ache. He shakes his head, clasps his hand softly on Nick's shoulder and presses his eyebrows together. Nick reads his face slowly as if trying to understand and slowly he sighs, smiles up at Adam and lets him rest his forehead against his. "We can stay here." He says and Adam almost sighs in relief, the heat of his breath falling against Nick's bottom lip.

"Thank you" Adam says slowly, breathes slowly through his nose and he breathes out into Nick's lips pressing around his. It's a slow kiss, one that wraps them both in warmth and soon Adam is giggling into Nick's mouth, his hands dancing over his ribs. He tickles him, brings laughter to their kiss and Adam tries to swallow Nick's happiness down in the hopes that it fixes whatever is broken inside him. The two of them breathe in the same air, panting warm air over each others mouths and soon Adam is kneeling over him, lips pressing into the side of his face, over the curve of his forehead and Nick is laughing and squealing under Adam, the sound of their skin connecting when Adam clamps his hand over Nick's bare bicep and just holds him under him. His smaller frame is pinned against Adam's larger one by his legs but neither one feels small in one another.

"I want you" The words fall so suddenly out of Nick's lips that it takes Adam by surprise. He blinks, lips still and chest aching. His hands crave and his mind races and he leans in and presses a soft kiss to the inside of Nick's shoulder and he whispers against his skin

"I will, I will." He breathes in his smell and maybe its because something inside Adam has died and now there's vultures circling around his brain and there's starving wolves chewing on the shattered cage of his ribs but he sinks his teeth into the racing pulse of Nick's neck giggling against his skin when he feels his throat twitch between his teeth. He breathes in slowly and leans back, straddles Nick just enough to feel his hard cock already pressing against the hem of his jeans, into the back of Adam's asscheeks and its almost enough to drive him wild with a lust that he hasn't tasted on the back of his teeth for what feels like forever. It's dirty and human and Adam feels his pulse dancing under the scars on his wrists and he's alive. Something inside the husk of his broken frame is alive. "Do you have all..all the stuff we need?"

Nick glances around the small room, tilts his head back into the massage hole and he just grins up at Adam, eyes almost shining under the rising moon. "There's lube in here." He says simply, rests his arms on his stomach and he can't help but laugh when Adam's cheeks decorate themselves with a bright blush. "Go fetch" He teases and Adam hops obediently off the bed to lock the door and hunt through multiple drawers.

"I'm not a dog ya know." Adam says with a soft laugh and Nick just nods, rolling over onto his side to watch the way that Adam hunts, almost as if his life depends on finding the lube. There's the flurry of unwrapped bandages falling around his feet and the crumpling of packages and Nick hears Adam swear under his breath when there's the clunk of metal instruments dropping and soon Adam sighs, holding up small plastic vials and his face is bright and triumphant.

He kisses Nick softer this time, almost as if trying to get every taste off his lips and Nick chuckles into his mouth and Adam feels it fizzle out against his tongue. They're slow to strip each other down, hands falling over each other's ribs, over faded scars and dented hips and soon Adam is kneeling either side of Nick, straddling him. His hands are tickling him and as Adam cracks the tip of the lube against the massage table the two of them smile and look at one another.

"I missed you" Nick tells Adam when he strokes a soaked hand across his aching cock. They look at one another giggling and laughing as they steal kisses and soft breathes that slide over each other's swollen lips. Adam pushes both their dicks together, collects them in his large hands and chuckles when Nick squirms and whispers his name out in desperation.

"I missed you too" And it whispered like a promise that only Nick is meant to be able to hear. Adam nudges his forehead against his and the two of them look at one another watching how their pupils thin out and expand and soon they're moaning into each other's mouths and when Adam misses a kiss, knocking his forehead into the bend of Nick's neck, the room is filled with laughter again.

Adam doesn't know why Nick is looking at him so softly. He blinks heavy eyes and follows the way that Nick squirms closer and tucks his head under Adam's sore arm. There's still blood in Adam's mouth, hiding under his tongue but Nick seems not to care because he's kissing him anyway, sliding his tongue slowly across the cut on Adam's bottom lip as if the heat of his tongue could heal wounds. He pulls away softly and Adam closes aching eyes and opens them slowly, stares at Nick with a fondness. "I'm okay." Adam promises, nudging his aching forehead against Nick's, pressing harder and harder almost as if Adam wants their bodies to mold together. Maybe the pain from the death match would stop flowing through his veins. He still tastes blood when he tries to sit up, nudging himself into Nick as he grabs onto the bed sheets to stop himself from toppling over.

Nick chuckles but it doesn't sound right, it hits too low in his chest and when Adam shakes his head a little, dislodges the fog from his eyes and he blinks at Nick, waiting for the frow to fall off his face but it doesn't budge. "Oh yeah, you're okay! Why are you moving?" Nick asks, hands settling over Adam's and it almost makes him melt, how softly Nick rubs at his white-tipped knuckles until his hands loosen on the blankets and he slumps back. The pillows wrap around him and before Adam can part swollen lips, Nick nudges a bottle of water into his hands. 

And then he kisses him. Soft enough and when Adam returns the kiss, letting sore lips slide against Nicks softer ones. He realises that Nick doesnt care about the blood that sits drying between his teeth before the feeling of Adam's hands looped in his will forever be more then enough for him.

Nick kisses his forehead, tucking the blankets around Adam and as he leans over his taller frame, he lets Adam press a kiss to the cage of his ribs. "Sleep." Nick whispers, snuggling into Adam's side as the lights above them dim.
