Looking up from the papers on his desk, Anubisfollowed the god’s gaze toward the Ibis. “Ah. Yes, it’s a Sacred Ibis,” heexplained. Brown eyes travelling over the taxidermy in his private office atthe hospital, a respectful smile graced his usually stern looking features. TheSacred Ibis was connected to Thoth, one of his fellow Egyptian gods whom Anubisrespected. Thoth had been at his side every time he Weighed a Heart and he hadto admit he quite missed the presence of the other. Gaze returning to Hades,who was the director of the hospital, Anubis leaned back into his seat. “Is theresomething I can help you with?” Wondering if one of his clients had put down acomplaint regarding the taxidermy animals in his office he gently dropped hispen on his papers.
