I have this side idea that my Trevelyn left home/was kicked out for basically adopting children their family didn't agree with. hi I was the gay disaster anon hyping over Kaldur. sorry my ask started a discussion. I may not have been on tumblr when YJ started, I've seen the old posts of people using Kaldur as cannon fodder, a side character (despite being a main member), and even killed for other chars benefit in fics. Then when he was "evil" people "knew he was bad all along". Not even acknowledging he's a hero after revealed. Even if they say it isn't a race thing, it really was. And still is when brought up like now.

Kaldur'ahm is actually hinted to being bi, cause he loves Tula and then the YJ comic hints, Greg Weisman has made it sort of clear he’s not straight. in the new comics Jackson Hyde is gay (they’re basically the same person just retold story). basically Kaldur/Jackson are not straight
