Summoning the 2016 UNDERTALE community
Do you like Undertale ? Do you like Gaster ? Are you cringe ? Do you maybe have a bit of the 'tism ?
Well I have just the thing for you !
I present to you:
HANDRITTEN WINDINGS !
I remember trying to learn windings when I was little because I thought it was "cool" to be able to write in a "mysterious language" nobody could read.
I never really managed tho... Writing windings by hand is really annoying since, you know, it's not made for it.
This in why (and also because why not) I spend a few hours simplifying the symboles, keeping them recognizable while still making them distinguishable from each other when quickly written with a pen and paper.
And here are some help for the letters (was too lazy to do the rest but I still can if you really wan to)
I really wanted to make it as simple as possible so anyone could use the font if they wanted to ! The hands were the hardest part to figure out but I think I nailed it ;)
Some of the letters could still be simplified I guess but I didn't want to spend too much time on this stupid thing.
Also, some of the letters are quite different from the original, this is either because I wanted to make it simpler to write/draw or because they were too similar to another letter and I was afraid, when written quickly, you could mistake one for the other.
Like, for exemple, the lowercase S and W that looked too much like lowercase T and U.
The point was also to make them smaller so writing a single word doesn't take half the page :/
I'd be happy to answer any questions and, of course, this is just a suggestion ! Especially the two help images. Do whatever you want, I'm just having fun ^^
