( Hanako of course, considers Yashiro to be his one true love. However, it may be very difficult for him to say so out loud. Because of Yashiro’s lifespan, it makes him feel guilty. As if he’s giving her and himself a sense of false-hope. No matter what happens, she will always be his one and only. )

( Hanako grew up not having friends, and it was difficult for him to open up to others without the fear of being teased. Which is probably why he found it so easy to open up to his teacher, Tsuchigomori. I guess to say, he grew up with an abundance of loneliness, but he let his love of stars and his imagination take him to a better place than where he was. At least in his mind. Being around Yashiro and Kou gives him a sense of belonging he never felt before in his living life. He’s mentioned a few times now that he wished time would simply stop, and they could always have good times together. Hanako knows time is his greatest enemy. which also might explain the tension between he and Akane )

Longing;
