This is a post that I’m not happy about posting. After telling everyone about Chrisco Canada and how wonderful they are and how happy we as a family have been with all our orders. The pictures below are from a damaged box that was taken back to be repackaged and sent back out. This box was then delivered on December 11th and just dropped off on my doorstep when no one was home. I took pictures so that I would have proof and emailed them off to Chrisco and then heard back from them until today. The call today wasn’t even about my order it was about a mistake they had made by sending me a extra box of food. I have no issue paying for their mistake but thinking that I had just left it all in the boxes to melt really had me question their process. When I asked about the email I had sent them the person on the phone tried telling me that it was my fault that box had been destroyed in the shipping process and that it was also my fault that they had delivered the wrong box to me. Do to this we have had to make the very hard decision not to order from Chrisco next year, I also advise those who have made orders be sure to contact the day you order arrives and go through your order with them on the phone with you. Now if your able to do that because your order was delivered at 7pm then I suggest that do what we and not order or cancel your order. Now you maybe asking yourself what’s going to happen now, what is Chrisco going to do? And unfortunately I have no idea. I do know that they will be charging $180 for the hamper that I did not order but that they delivered and wait until today to contact me about. Here’s what I would like to happen but I don’t expect it to, to be reimbursed for the hamper and the items that were destroyed or to call it even with the hamper that they delivered to me by mistake.
