Steering axle suspension repair at our truck and trailer repair shop in Edinburg Texas ! We removed and installed both the leaf spring bushings of the steering axle at our truck shop. We can complete steering bushing work on your truck within the same day if you drive into our truck shop early. We recommend a front end alignment after replacement of the bushing on the steering axle. This kind of service takes several hours. We did one side at a time to ensure the safety of our diesel mechanics. Mr Contreras, owner of Hammerdown, came into our truck repair shop with his truck having vibration and popping noise when turning on the steering axle. After our team did a visual inspection, we found play on six leaf spring bushings. We removed and installed both leaf spring bushings. Each side of the truck takes two bushings.
