Four Fights. Four First Round Finishes. | Hamicha's DOMINANT Start to his GLORY Career

Hamicha (Mohamed Mezouari) started off his Glory Kickboxing career with 4 straight first round finishes. He looked like he was the future of the welterweight division and was on his way to fighting for the title. Injuries delayed that promise as he missed 2 years of competition. He came back last year and looked like he was dealing with ring rust against Diaguely Camara. But with some ring time under his belt and another fight camp behind him, hopefully the 28 year old shows some more of that initial promise.

The judges liked the work Hamicha did in the first half of the 2nd round I guess, which fair I suppose.

Hamicha started strong. He looked big, powerful, fast and in charge in the opening round. Had Camara purely on the defensive as even glancing or blocked shots were throwing Camara off balance and pushing him back. 2nd round was going about the same but Camara was doing a better job of staying off the ropes. Hamicha started falling into shots and Camara's work rate skyrocketed. Started throwing 3-4 strike combos that would force Hamicha on the defensive, where he did not look comfortable. He looked essentially gassed by the end of the round. Camara sent Hamicha down off 3 punch combo that was a counter to a thigh or body kick but it was ruled a slip. But you could tell Hamicha was gassed. Camara kept building in the 3 round as he poured out offense.
