I drew hameneko because I love her
I think the best (and saddest) part of yanineko is relating and seeing yourself in the characters like i see myself so much in hameko and I think it makes my attachments to these characters stronger like you see yourself or a loved one in them and you want to watch them get better. You laugh, you cry, yanineko in spite of being a comedy and being known for many grossout scenes is a great anime and a much more realistic depiction of addiction compared to many others. Id reccomend it if youre okay with the gross humor

oh epiccc people assume what yaku did to hameko was rape and it just wasnt, she bullied her and took the piss out of her (pun intended) but if it was rape this would have been a whole different scene, im not against dark themes even as long as your writing doesnt suck and you know how to handle this shit but here it was just TEASING and not RAPE fucking stop how do you take this fucking scene so seriously, theyre fucking around
