I feel like I’m giving y’all the wrong impression of Halsten. He kills a lot, but keep in mind that Andreas is a living weapon and Myungdae finds himself to be a natural weapon master when he finally gets around to it.
Halsten is a survivor. He’s earned every ounce of glory he’s gotten and he’s where he is because of his ever burning sense of self-preservation. It’s so persistent, in fact, that every time he has to step between an innocent civilian and the knife aimed at their throat, he has to struggle against the urge to just leave them to die. Even so, it’s a decision he makes daily.
