Before the Witches' night 🎃

This year's Halloween art features once again my beloved John and Veronica from my Witches × Monsters AU, with Witch Veronica and Werewolf John 💕 I wanted to draw something cozy and autumnal so sorry if it's not exactly spooky 👉🏻👈🏻 I hope you'll like it anyway!

For the pose I took a painting as a reference, Acme and Septimius (1868) by Frederic Leighton, which I found a while ago on instagram.

In this AU, Veronica and her sister witches Chrissie and Dominique found John, Roger, Brian and Freddie during a Halloween ritual, and they started living all together in a cottage in the woods. I loved to imagine John and Ronnie relaxing together in a reserved corner of the garden, enjoying the autumn breeze before celebrating Halloween all together 🥰

Celebrating HalloQueen back home in Brooklyn again, power-pop trio Jukebox the Ghost, after playing a set of their own music followed by a costume contest during intermission, returned to the Brooklyn Steel stage dressed as Queen, playing a set of the beloved band’s greatest hits with some help from Sammy Rae and opener Andy Arthur Smith (who also hosted the costume contest).
