               ‘ yeah, neither am i. doesn’t mean we’re shitty people though. ’ way to go, lindsey — surprisingly deep. the usual fire inside of her was nowhere to be found, instead there was softness ; WARMTH. to find her in a calm state like this was RARE, and yet it seemed that herschel had the privilege of being there most of the time. ( the joint in her hand should not be overlooked, of course. the culprit of her clouded head, the warmth in her chest. her walls were down and she didn’t mind that they were around. ) ‘ ain’t the important part that you TRY ? you’ve got the effort you put into it and there’s nobody who can take THAT from ya ? ‘course you gotta have something that’s WORTH trying for … ’ lindsey tried to think of her own reasons to make a promise, but thinking felt awfully DIFFICULT — trying to concentrate only led to an overwhelming amount of thoughts. ‘ i think i’d try for you. ’
