“Of ‘circumstance’.” Dante repeated the word with malice as purple eyes glared at Jay. What may have been an attempt at sympathy was entirely misinterpreted, and the entity was struggling to keep his frustration in check.

“You still don’t understand! ‘Circumstance’ does not mean the same when one fool’s twisted mentality causes others to suffer! ‘Circumstance’ implies that it was an unlucky roll of the dice, or a poor choice of cards, that it was something out of our control and no one could have changed!” The colours around him began to flicker dangerously as his temper began to rise. But then, as quick as it happened... It stopped. His emotions had all but disappeared.

Lyle couldn’t help but notice the other leaving, and without a coat no less- the doctor was quick to fix that, setting his own around Jay’s shoulders with no second thought. At his boyfriend’s words, he blinked in confusion.

Damien couldn’t help it. He had to pull the younger in a tight hug. After the events in the office that almost lost him everything, the moment of almost-familial comfort was needed.

“It’s alright... I’m alright... Whoever that was, he... He’s been taken away.” But he needed the moment of grounding to be sure that this was real, that Jay was here. “I’m so sorry for scaring you. I should have come home when I said I would.”

Dante was frozen to the spot.

After all this time, someone he cared about was still alive, still okay... He had to work to set things right but he couldn’t help the word that slipped out of his mouth:

Work- both regular and super, had been busy; he had to help make up for coworker absences on both sides. Though as much as he was exhausted, there was no way he was going to miss welcoming Jay home. ..Even though he barely had the mental process power to comprehend most words.

Okay, so maybe they shouldn’t have startled her so much, and it didn’t help they had changed their voice to not be as girly as it was before. Still, it was a crime that they hadn’t seen their super duper girlfriend in so long! Their body relaxed having her hand in their hair, melting and giving a slight purr.

Lyle was tired, possibly from overworking- actually, absolutely because of overworking. He figured he could come over and cuddle up to his boyfriend, possibly take a long nap or at least enjoy his company for the time being, if insomnia still had a hold on him.

As he entered the room, he felt something circle in around his ring finger. Lyle glanced down at his hand- spotting the gold band. Shooting a surprised look back at Jay, he saw the other also had one.

My Opinion on;

Character in general: Admittedly, the blog and characters have had a major overhaul since I’ve last interacted with them, so I’m not completely. However! It’s impressive toHow they play them: Showing my age here, but I’ve seen Jay over the years in various iterations and fandoms. But he’s still got that charm to him after all that time. Peter really puts the love and detail into every muse they’ve ever written, and I’m delighted that this is a habit that has continued on.The Mun: Peter is a great kid. While we’ve never been super duper close, there’s always been a mutual respect along the way. I know they’ve been super busy with high school, and I hope they’ve been remembering to keep on top of their classes! :P

RP with them: Not as much as I used to.Want to RP with them: Always. But school work comes first. :P

What is my;

Overall Opinion: I do think combining the M.arvel and B.NHA stories into one universe was a clever spin for both fandoms. It allows the chance to make the characters entirely unique and not overly relying on one fandom over the other, yet have a valid ‘in’ for both. I hope it all goes well for you! :D
