Work- both regular and super, had been busy; he had to help make up for coworker absences on both sides. Though as much as he was exhausted, there was no way he was going to miss welcoming Jay home. ..Even though he barely had the mental process power to comprehend most words.
He definitely didn’t need the cup of coffee he was holding, though he was slightly reluctant to let go. “Nooo...” He tried to protest, but ended up cuddling closer to Jay’s chest once lifted, letting out a defeated, tired groan. “Have y’taken care of yours’lf lately..?.. there’s... th’rs left ovr’s n the ketchen..”
